The Invitation: You are invited to an Introspective Spaces gathering designed for healthcare professionals to pause, create, and connect. Our mission is to support those who care for others by providing a "community of care"—a space to navigate moral distress through the healing practices of art and ritual.

About the Collaboration: This event marks the beginning of an impactful partnership. Launching Fall 2026, Introspective Spaces will facilitate a series of workshops for UC Berkeley/UCSF Joint Medical Program (JMP) students focused on the pillars of Identity, Community, Creativity, and Grief. Light refreshments provided.

About the Celebration: This gathering brings the full healthcare community together to create, reflect, and honor one another. Featuring live performances, a guided expressive art activity, and shared reflections, the afternoon culminates in a pinning ceremony celebrating our graduating Healing Together cohort. All are welcome—no artistic experience needed.

August 29th from 1- 4 PM at the Destiny Arts Center (970 Grace Avenue between Lowell and Los Angeles Streets in North Oakland.)

• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Opening Reception celebrating the JMP & Introspective Spaces partnership.

• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Interactive "Celebrating Creativity" session, featuring a guided art activity and a graduation ceremony for our Artist’s Way cohort. Open to ALL clinicians interested in the intersection of creativity and clinical life. See what it looks like here.
