Grief is woven into the daily work of caring for others, yet healthcare workers are rarely given a place to set it down. We Bear Witness offers that place: a virtual, interfaith grief space where clinicians, nurses, chaplains, and caregivers gather to honor the losses they carry from the bedside.
Co-facilitated by healthcare workers, each session draws on poetry, narrative, ritual, and reflective practice — and on the wisdom of many faith traditions — to help participants name their grief, feel less alone in it, and return to their work more whole. For those who cannot attend, there is still a way to be present: a patient's story, shared anonymously, can be read aloud and witnessed by the circle. You don't have to hold it by yourself.
